Masala Chaas Recipe | Smoked Buttermilk | Smoked Chaas
Ingredients:
1 cup yoghurt
2 cups water
salt to taste
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp fresh ginger
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1 red chilli
Few curry leaves
Fresh coriander
A piece of live coal
1/2 tsp ghee
1/4 tsp chilli powder
Method:
Whisk together yoghurt, cumin powder, salt, and ginger. Keep that aside.
Heat the oil, add mustard seeds & let it splutter.
Add cumin seeds, red chilli & curry leaves. Saute & let it cool down.
Pour the seasoning into to buttermilk & add coriander, mix well.
On the coal add ghee & chilli powder. place that and cover it for 2 mins. remove the coal.
Enjoy the chilled and Smoked Buttermilk.
